On the Dotted Line surveys three decades of Mexico-based artist Domenico Zindato’s visionary practice, from intricate drawings to recent paintings and painted leaves shaped by ritual, nature, and psychedelic experience.
Born in southern Italy and now based in Cuernavaca, Mexico, Zindato developed his singular visual language through an intuitive, meditative process in which abstract and figurative forms merge into dense rhythmic patterns. His work reflects a life shaped by theater design in Rome, Berlin’s post-punk and electronic music scenes, and his later immersion in the natural and spiritual traditions of Mexico and the Amazon.
Published in conjunction with Zindato’s 2025 exhibition at Andrew Edlin Gallery, the book includes more than thirty plates of recent works, archival photographs, and an extended interview tracing the experiences and influences that have shaped his practice.
